Alan R. Fisher
My consulting practice primarily provides services to software suppliers and retailers. For software suppliers, I provide services related to salesperson training programs, software design and development (focusing on inventory management). I have worked on two significant projects involving B2B for two vertical retail markets.
For retailers, I provide services for buyer training (statistical analysis), open-to-buy planning, service and analysis, procedural analysis and implementation, and computer system searches. Additionally, I have been a guest speaker at various trade association events, including the PGA in the US and Premiere Golf in Spain, France, Germany, England and Scotland.
More recently, I have been helping small businesses develop marketing and sales strategies. I currently serve as an advisor to a global marketing company in the sports-related industries.
Software companies that I have consulted with on development projects include: Fairway Systems, GolfNet and Spectrum Retail (ProphetLine)
Retail clients have included Morton Golf, Saturday’s World (24 stores in junior apparel) and Pickles & Ice Cream (current client), a franchise operation.
Other projects would include evaluations and system selections for general retail and golf-related clients.
